"Your game and your life can't help but be enhanced by reading this book."

Our Job here at Aussie Golf Pros is to bring you amazing content that will help your game.

In our thirst to learn and become better golfers ourselves, from time to time we come across other peoples work that moves us or resonates with us so strongly that we feel compelled to share it.

This is is one of those times! This book by Sam Jarman, 'The Three Principles of Outstanding Golf' I just finished, had to be shared!

This is how Sam describes the book

Is your golf driving you crazy? This audiobook will tell you why.

To reach your potential as a golfer, it helps to understand two things: You need to understand the game, and you need to understand yourself.

The game is simple; get the ball in the hole as quickly as you can. It’s the second element that leaves many golfers confused.

“A simple game becomes more complicated than it should be when a golfer doesn’t understand how their mind really works”

Sam Jarman

A simple game becomes more complicated than it should be when a golfer doesn’t understand how their mind really works.

This misunderstanding is revealed in the questions they ask themselves when they play or practice.

  • Why do I rarely play my best golf when I really want to?
  • Why is it so difficult to fix and improve my golf swing?
  • Why do I feel so nervous on the first tee?
  • Why do I always sabotage myself when I have a good round going?
  • Why do I enjoy golf one day but find it frustrating and hard work the next?

Many golf psychology guides offer mental strategies and techniques to cope with the apparent pressures of the game and to address how golfers feel on the golf course.

This audiobook is different. It reveals the cause of the doubts and fears rather than trying to fix the symptoms.

I love my Audible account!

So I grabbed this book in 'Audiobook' form but it is also available in paperback and Kindle.

If you love to read or listen and learn about different concepts and strategies to play better Golf like I do, then I highly recommend this book!

I loved it and listened to it back to back twice! over a period of a few days.

Brilliantly provoking book. As an overthinker, both in golf and in life, this book invites you to take a different approach. Arguably simple in theory it feels anything but in reality, at least initially, only time will tell how much this changes. Expect I shall be reading this several more times
